Too hot Oven

Not sure if this is the right place but I'll ask here anyway - after burning banana bread I figured my oven might be too hot and today I checked before making brownies and it seems the temperature might be about 75 degrees hotter than it should be. I've reduced the temperature by 75 degrees and will be checking frequently. I guess my real question is should I be contacting the apartment complex maintenance this week to fix it or would there not be anything he can do? Other than remembering to turn the temperature down is there anything else I should do?

ETA: Speaking of the brownies - do they freeze well?
